Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle approach to detect and correct imbalances. This light touch can be sensed deep in the body and is instantly calming.

I find craniosacral therapy is a profound light touch healing art that allows the practitioner to listen to the innate healing potential of the body. My hands listen to the rhythm of the craniosacral system, healing response, release, and natural unwinding that occurs in the session. The craniosacral system consists of the dural tube (membrane surrounding the spine), the cranium, spine, sacral bone, ischium, and the cranial sacral fluid that runs up and down the spine. A balanced rhythm acts like a hydraulic system that pumps the cranial sacral fluid evenly up and down the spine.

Receiving Craniosacral therapy after massage can make the positive effects of the treatment last longer.

Most clients receive an immediate deep relaxation once I initiate craniosacral therapy. The unwindings that may occur may be sensed as structural alignment with the skeletal system and cranium.

I received my training from Upledger Institute (level 1 & 2) and Arnie Lade, RMT, R.Ac. I have practicing Craniosacral Therapy for 11 years.

For my first massage I was lucky to have Yanti work on me. I have to say it is by far my best experience ever! This year I was diagnosed with Trigeminal neuralgia which is a nerve disorder that causes excruciating pain in my face. I received a short massage followed by a craniosacral treatment, and for once I felt relief from facial pain as well as bodily pain. It felt like all tension that I had was lifted away. I've never felt so relieved in my life that it brought tears to my eyes. My only regret is that I didn't receive this treatment sooner. As the manager of Solterra Spa, where Yanti worked, many clients expressed that she is amazing at what she does and now I know why. Yanti is definitely born with a gift!
